War Crime

A war crime is a serious violation of international humanitarian law committed during armed conflict, including acts such as willful killing, torture, inhuman treatment, causing great suffering, extensive destruction of property without military necessity, compelling prisoners of war to serve in hostile forces, depriving fair trial rights, unlawful deportation, hostage-taking, and intentionally attacking civilians or civilian objects.
