Human Security

Human security shifts the focus from state-centered security to the protection and empowerment of individuals, encompassing their physical safety, economic and social welfare, dignity, and fundamental rights. It acknowledges that true security requires addressing threats such as poverty, disease, environmental degradation, and political repression, not just military aggression.
