Humanitarian Worker

Individuals employed by humanitarian organizations, whether international or local staff, or community members formally or informally engaged, to implement the organization’s activities. This includes personnel deployed by NGOs under UN agreements, UN staff (humanitarian, military, police, civilian, or experts on mission), and government or intergovernmental organization personnel assigned with UN consent, all of whom require safety and security assurances during complex emergencies.
