Humanitarian Reform

A comprehensive initiative to strengthen the global humanitarian system by improving response capacity, predictability, accountability, and partnerships. It seeks to deliver more effective, timely, and needs-based relief and protection to a larger number of affected people through four key objectives: building sufficient response capacity and leadership in under-served sectors; ensuring adequate, timely, and flexible financing; enhancing coordination and leadership at all levels; and fostering stronger partnerships between UN and non-UN humanitarian actors.
