West Bank

The West Bank is a landlocked region in the Middle East that has been under Israeli military occupation since 1967, including East Jerusalem. It is divided into areas under Palestinian civil and security control (Area A), joint Israeli-Palestinian control (Area B), and full Israeli control (Area C), which includes Israeli settlements considered illegal under international law. The Palestinian National Authority exercises limited self-governance in parts of the territory.
