Natural Hazards

Natural hazards are naturally occurring physical phenomena or processes that have the potential to cause harm, including loss of life, injury, property damage, social and economic disruption, or environmental degradation. They are a subset of all hazards, distinguished by their origin in natural processes rather than human activities.
