Oslo Accords

A pair of agreements signed in 1993 and 1995 between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization, brokered by the United States, in which the PLO recognized Israel’s right to exist and Israel acknowledged Palestinian self-governance, leading to the establishment of the Palestinian Authority.
