A global humanitarian network dedicated to safeguarding life and dignity, and to preventing and reducing suffering impartially, regardless of gender, nationality, ethnicity, faith, social status, or political views. It comprises the International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and national Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
