Constructivism

A theory in International Relations positing that key features of world politics—such as state interests, identities, and the structure of the international system—are not fixed or given but are socially and historically constructed through interactions, norms, and shared ideas. This perspective challenges realist assumptions by arguing that even concepts like anarchy and power politics are products of social practice and can therefore be changed.
