African Union (AU)

The African Union (AU) is a continental organization comprising African nations, established in 2002 to succeed the Organisation of African Unity. It operates through key institutions such as the Pan-African Parliament, the Commission, and biannual summits of heads of state. The AU also maintains a Peace and Security Council to enforce its decisions and promote stability across the continent.
