Terre des Hommes Italia is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting children’s rights and protecting children from exploitation, violence, and neglect. Founded in 1960, it operates globally with a mission to ensure a better future for children, particularly those in vulnerable situations, through development programs and emergency interventions.

In Ukraine, Terre des Hommes Italia has been active since 2014, focusing on child protection, education, and psychosocial support. The organization works in conflict-affected areas, providing safe spaces for children, supporting child-friendly spaces, and offering mental health services. It also implements livelihood and food security programs for displaced families.

Since the escalation of the conflict in 2022, Terre des Hommes Italia has scaled up its emergency response, reaching over 100,000 children and caregivers with protection services, educational materials, and cash assistance. The organization continues to adapt its programs to meet the evolving needs of children and families affected by the war.
