SV

Stichting Vluchteling (SV) is a Dutch humanitarian organization dedicated to providing life-saving aid to refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide. Founded on the principles of solidarity and impartiality, SV works to protect the most vulnerable populations affected by conflict and persecution, ensuring access to basic necessities and upholding human dignity.

In Ukraine, SV has been active since the onset of the crisis in 2014, scaling up operations significantly after the full-scale invasion in 2022. The organization focuses on emergency relief, including the distribution of food, water, hygiene kits, and shelter materials. SV also supports health services, protection programs for women and children, and educational initiatives for displaced children.

Since 2022, SV has reached over 500,000 people in Ukraine with critical assistance. Their rapid response includes mobile health units, cash assistance, and winterization supplies. SV continues to adapt its programs to meet evolving needs, particularly in frontline areas and for hard-to-reach populations.
