Rokada

Rokada Charitable Foundation is a Ukrainian non-governmental organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid and protection to vulnerable populations, including internally displaced persons (IDPs), conflict-affected communities, and people with disabilities. Founded on principles of neutrality and impartiality, Rokada works to uphold human dignity and ensure access to basic rights in crisis settings.

In Ukraine, Rokada implements comprehensive programs focusing on protection, shelter, livelihoods, health, and education. The foundation operates mobile teams that deliver psychosocial support, legal aid, and case management to conflict-affected individuals. It also provides emergency shelter repairs, winterization assistance, and cash-based interventions to meet basic needs.

Since the escalation of the conflict in 2022, Rokada has scaled up its emergency response, reaching over 100,000 beneficiaries with life-saving assistance. The foundation has established community centers, distributed hygiene kits, and facilitated access to healthcare and education for displaced families. Rokada’s work is recognized for its rapid deployment and deep local knowledge.
