Philanthropy in Ukraine (Philanthropy UA) is a charitable foundation dedicated to mobilizing resources and support for humanitarian and development initiatives in Ukraine. Its global mission is to foster resilience, recovery, and sustainable development by empowering local communities and strengthening civil society.
In Ukraine, Philanthropy UA implements programs focused on health, protection, shelter, livelihoods, education, and food security. The organization works closely with local partners to deliver aid to conflict-affected populations, particularly in eastern and southern regions, providing emergency medical supplies, psychosocial support, temporary housing, and livelihood assistance.
Since the escalation of the conflict in 2022, Philanthropy UA has rapidly scaled up its emergency response, reaching over 500,000 beneficiaries with critical aid. Its impact includes distributing food and hygiene kits, supporting displaced families with cash assistance, and rehabilitating damaged schools and health facilities. PIU remains committed to addressing both immediate needs and long-term recovery.
