About
Light of Hope is an international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing life-saving assistance and sustainable development to vulnerable communities worldwide. Founded on principles of neutrality and impartiality, the organization works to alleviate suffering, protect human dignity, and empower individuals to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of crises.
In Ukraine, Light of Hope has been operational since 2014, focusing on integrated humanitarian response in conflict-affected areas. Key programs include emergency health services, psychosocial support, water and sanitation infrastructure rehabilitation, shelter repairs, and livelihood support for internally displaced persons and host communities. The organization also runs child-friendly spaces and educational activities to ensure continuity of learning.
Since the escalation of the conflict in February 2022, Light of Hope has scaled up its emergency response, reaching over 500,000 people with critical supplies, cash assistance, and protection services. The organization has established mobile health units, distributed hygiene kits and winterization items, and provided multipurpose cash assistance to meet basic needs. Its rapid response teams operate in frontline areas, ensuring timely delivery of aid to the most vulnerable populations.
