INSO
Organization: International NGO Safety Organisation
About
Founded in 2011, the International NGO Safety Organisation (INSO) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that supports the humanitarian community by providing critical safety and security services. INSO’s global mission is to enable NGOs to deliver aid safely in conflict-affected and volatile environments by offering real-time incident tracking, analysis, and training.
In Ukraine, INSO has been operational since 2014, establishing a dedicated team to monitor and report on security incidents affecting humanitarian operations. The organization provides daily security reports, risk assessments, and contextual analysis to over 200 NGOs operating across the country, including in frontline areas.
Since the escalation of the conflict in February 2022, INSO has expanded its services to meet the surge in humanitarian needs. It now offers 24/7 security coordination, crisis management support, and specialized training for aid workers. INSO’s data and analysis have been instrumental in helping NGOs adapt their programs to the evolving security landscape, ensuring the safe delivery of life-saving assistance to millions of Ukrainians.
