Helpcode

Helpcode is an international humanitarian organization founded in 1988, dedicated to protecting children’s rights and promoting sustainable development. Its global mission focuses on ensuring access to education, healthcare, and protection for vulnerable children and communities, with a strong emphasis on child participation and gender equality.

In Ukraine, Helpcode has been active since 2014, implementing programs in child protection, education, and psychosocial support. The organization works in conflict-affected areas, providing safe learning spaces, mine risk education, and mental health support for children and families. Helpcode also supports internally displaced persons (IDPs) with essential items and cash assistance.

Since the escalation of the conflict in 2022, Helpcode has scaled up its emergency response, reaching over 100,000 beneficiaries. Activities include distributing hygiene kits, winterization supplies, and food parcels, as well as establishing child-friendly spaces and mobile teams for psychosocial first aid. Helpcode continues to advocate for children’s rights and integrate protection across all sectors.
