Fida

Fida International is a Finnish Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to holistic development and emergency relief. Its global mission is to empower vulnerable communities, especially children and youth, through sustainable development programs that address poverty, inequality, and injustice. Fida works in over 30 countries, focusing on long-term community transformation and disaster response.

In Ukraine, Fida has been active since 2014, initially supporting internally displaced persons and conflict-affected communities. Following the full-scale invasion in 2022, Fida scaled up its emergency response, providing shelter, food, hygiene items, and psychosocial support. The organization partners with local churches and civil society to deliver aid in frontline areas and host communities.

Fida’s impact in Ukraine includes reaching tens of thousands of people with life-saving assistance. Its recent emergency response focuses on winterization, cash assistance, and child-friendly spaces. Fida also supports livelihoods and education to help families recover and build resilience amidst ongoing conflict.
