About

FHI 360 is a nonprofit human development organization dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, locally driven solutions. With a global mission to create a world where everyone can thrive, FHI 360 works across more than 60 countries, focusing on health, education, nutrition, environment, economic development, civil society, gender equality, and youth. The organization partners with governments, communities, and other stakeholders to design and implement programs that address complex challenges and promote sustainable change.

In Ukraine, FHI 360 has been active since 2014, initially supporting health system strengthening and HIV/AIDS prevention. Following the escalation of conflict in 2022, the organization expanded its response to address urgent humanitarian needs. Current programs include emergency health services, protection for vulnerable populations, education support for displaced children, and livelihood assistance for conflict-affected communities. FHI 360 works closely with local partners and the Government of Ukraine to deliver integrated assistance in frontline and hard-to-reach areas.

Since the full-scale invasion in February 2022, FHI 360 has reached over 1 million people with critical health services, including trauma care and mental health support. The organization has also provided emergency shelter materials, winterization supplies, and cash assistance to families. Through its education programs, FHI 360 has helped thousands of children continue learning despite school closures. The organization remains committed to supporting Ukraine’s recovery and long-term development, adapting its response as the crisis evolves.
