DIVCHATA

The Girls Charitable Foundation (DIVCHATA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering girls and young women globally. Its mission is to ensure every girl has the opportunity to reach her full potential through education, mentorship, and advocacy. The foundation works to break cycles of poverty and inequality by providing resources and support for girls’ rights and well-being.

In Ukraine, DIVCHATA has been active since 2014, focusing on protection, education, and livelihoods for vulnerable girls and women affected by conflict. Programs include safe spaces, psychosocial support, vocational training, and educational grants. The foundation partners with local communities and international agencies to deliver targeted assistance in both government-controlled and conflict-affected areas.

Since the escalation of the war in 2022, DIVCHATA has scaled up its emergency response, providing shelter, hygiene kits, and cash assistance to displaced families. The foundation has reached over 10,000 beneficiaries with critical protection services and continues to adapt its programs to meet evolving needs. Its work has been recognized for its rapid deployment and community-centered approach.
