AVALIST

Avalist is an international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing life-saving assistance and sustainable development to vulnerable communities worldwide. Founded on principles of neutrality and impartiality, Avalist works to address the root causes of poverty and conflict, empowering local populations through integrated programs in health, protection, water and sanitation, shelter, livelihoods, education, and food security.

In Ukraine, Avalist has been operational since 2014, responding to the humanitarian needs arising from the conflict in the eastern regions. The organization implements multi-sectoral programs focusing on emergency health services, protection for internally displaced persons (IDPs), winterization support, and access to clean water. Avalist works in close coordination with local authorities and international partners to reach the most affected communities.

Since the escalation of the conflict in February 2022, Avalist has scaled up its emergency response, providing medical supplies, psychosocial support, cash assistance, and shelter repairs to thousands of families. The organization has also established mobile health units and supported collective centers for IDPs. Avalist remains committed to addressing the evolving needs of the Ukrainian population, with a focus on the most vulnerable groups including children, elderly, and persons with disabilities.
