About
ADRA is the global humanitarian organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, operating in over 130 countries. Its mission is to serve humanity so all may live as God intended, providing sustainable development and disaster relief without discrimination.
In Ukraine, ADRA has been active since 2014, initially responding to the conflict in the east. Current programs include food distribution, cash assistance, shelter repairs, psychosocial support, and access to clean water, reaching vulnerable populations in frontline and internally displaced communities.
Since the escalation of war in February 2022, ADRA has scaled up emergency response, assisting over 1 million people with food, hygiene kits, and emergency shelter. It operates through local staff and volunteers, ensuring aid reaches the most affected areas, including Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Mykolaiv.
