Tropical Cyclone

A large-scale, organized storm system that forms over warm tropical or subtropical waters, characterized by a non-frontal structure, deep convection, and a well-defined cyclonic circulation at the surface. In the South-West Indian Ocean, it specifically refers to storms with sustained winds between 64 and 90 knots, while in the South Pacific and South-East Indian Ocean, it applies to storms with sustained winds exceeding 33 knots.
