Tropical Storm

A tropical storm is a meteorological system characterized by a low-pressure center, strong winds ranging from 39 to 73 miles per hour (63 to 118 kilometers per hour), and organized thunderstorms. It forms over warm tropical or subtropical waters and is classified as a more intense stage than a tropical depression but less severe than a hurricane or typhoon. The storm’s structure includes a cyclonic rotation and can produce heavy rainfall, storm surges, and hazardous sea conditions.
