Consolidated Appeals Process (CAP)

The Consolidated Appeals Process (CAP) is a framework enabling humanitarian organizations to jointly plan, coordinate, fund, implement, and monitor responses to major emergencies requiring a system-wide effort. It promotes strategic humanitarian action by fostering collaboration among host governments, donors, and aid agencies—including NGOs, the Red Cross, IOM, and UN entities—to develop a Common Humanitarian Action Plan (CHAP) and a unified funding appeal.
